MORE ABOUT ME
Food and nutrition have always been an important part of my life, and became my professional life when I realized I could use my knowledge, experience and passion to make a difference in the lives of others. I believe that nutrition is the foundation of a healthy lifestyle and integral to both disease prevention and intervention. As a registered dietitian, I have years of experience specializing in adult weight management, integrative and functional nutrition, sports nutrition, diabetes management, food allergies and sensitivities, wellness education, and customized meal planning.
I believe that food is the best medicine and we are what we eat. Does that mean we have a perfect nutrition plan every day? Absolutely not! But it means that we appreciate the power of good REAL food and aim to make that the basis of our plan every week. Food should taste good and diets don't work. Learning to improve and understand your relationship with food, your body, and how those two interact is my goal for you. And, I hope you enjoy the process along the way!
